American Psychological Association (APA): APA's Disaster Resource Network (DRN) consits of
psychologists who have expertise in the psychological impact of disasters on individuals, families and
           communities and voluntarily
engage in preparedness, response and recovery activities.

American Red Cross: Licensed mental health professionals can receive free training and serve their communities as Red
Cross Disaster Mental Health volunteers.

California Association of Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (CALPCC): CALPCC focusing on educating professional clinical counselors on disaster mental health and crisis response through the Disaster Relief Committee.

California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist (CAMFT): The CAMFT Crisis Response Education and
Resources Committee
provides crisis response and disaster mental health information and assistance to all mental
            health professionals.

National Association of Social Workers-California Chapter: NASW has an American Red Cross Council (NASWCA/ARC Council) consisting of a group of social workers interested in disaster work.

National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN):  NCTSN services for traumatized children, their families and

Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA): Disaster Behavioral Health resources through SAMHSA offers free of charge a Psychological First Aid for First Responders brochure with tips for emergency and
           disaster response workers.
